Role Description
This is a contract position for a Senior Manager – Finance Accounting, based in London, operating within a hybrid working model that provides flexibility for remote work alongside on-site client engagement.
The Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing technical financial accounting initiatives, including IFRS and FRS 102 projects, preparing detailed financial statements, reviewing and improving existing finance processes, delivering high-quality financial reporting, and providing analytical insights to support decision-making.
The role will involve working closely with internal teams and our clients across our retail, aviation, technology, hospitality, banking, and renewables sectors to support financial objectives, drive meaningful finance transformation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Proficiency in preparing and analysing financial statements and financial reporting
- Strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including designing and implementing new planning processes
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), including IFRS 16 and IFRS 15
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to provide strategic insights and recommendations across transformation projects
- Proven experience in financial management with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with strong attention to detail
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA strongly preferred
Working Arrangement, Rate & Travel
- Working Model: Hybrid (London-based with a combination of client site and remote working)
- Contract Type: Day-rate Secondment / Contract engagement
- Rate: Competitive market day rate (dependent on experience)
- Travel: The role may require occasional international travel depending on client project requirements
