Full Stack Product Engineer (Freelance / Part-Time)

The CFO HQ is expanding its technology capability and is looking for a Full Stack Product Engineer to join our expert network on a freelance / part-time basis. You will help design, build, and scale digital products that support CFOs, finance teams, and advisory services.

What You’ll Work On
- Build and enhance internal and client-facing platforms (dashboards, portals, tools)
- Develop scalable full-stack applications across web-based products
- Collaborate with CFOs, analysts, and product stakeholders to translate ideas into working solutions
- Support MVP development, rapid prototyping, and product iteration
- Contribute to architecture, integrations, and data workflows
Tech Environment (Typical)
- Frontend: React, Next.js
- Backend: Node.js, Python
- Cloud: AWS / Claude/ Azure / GCP
- Data: APIs, SQL / NoSQL, financial data integrations
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer in product-led environments
- Strong experience across modern frontend and backend frameworks
- Ability to build end-to-end solutions independently
- Experience working in fast-paced, startup or consulting environments
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivery
Highly Desirable
- Experience building fintech, data, or analytics platforms
- Exposure to finance, FP&A, or CFO tooling
- Experience with AI, automation, or workflow tools
- UI/UX awareness and product thinking mindset
