Asset Management (Aladdin Specialist)
The CFO HQ | Remote / UK | Contract or Full-Time
Work at the intersection of finance, technology, and investment operations.
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep Asset Management expertise and hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin to support transformation, system optimisation, and data-driven initiatives across our client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis across front-to-back asset management processes (Front Office, Risk, Operations)
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather, define, and document requirements
- Drive enhancements, implementations, and optimisation of Aladdin workflows
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Support system integrations, data mapping, and reporting improvements
- Facilitate UAT, process redesign, and change management initiatives
Key Requirements
- Strong Asset Management experience (buy-side preferred: asset managers, hedge funds, pension funds)
- Proven hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin (essential)
- Deep understanding of investment lifecycle, portfolio management, and risk analytics
- Experience across trade lifecycle, compliance, and performance reporting
- Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
- Experience in transformation, system implementation, or optimisation projects
Desirable
- Knowledge of additional platforms (e.g., Charles River, SimCorp, Bloomberg AIM)
- Experience in data architecture, APIs, or integration projects
- Agile / Scrum delivery experience
